Pros: One heck good lens , one of the best cheaper digital CAMERAS of all time
Cons: white balance, color, not bright enough , only 3 megapixels , not a great chipset1`
The Bottom Line: for ebay or outdoor use, be prepare to post process but lens is almost dslr quality. Many contradictions here but For now I will not recommend

updated with new model I found at store. I now recommend: I tried many a camera and this one has close to the best lens of all the cheap cameras out there of all time believe it or not. How an old camera with only 3 megapixels takes this kind of g
reat shots even with a not so great chipeset with dull colors and not that many megapix I have no idea but this camera to me is one of the best cameras lens at this level of all time. Unfortunately the rest of the cameras insides are not as
good, but now I think its still great.
The old chipset makes for horrible color renditions in condtions sometimes
except strong light but my new model is doing better so maybe I had a poor representation. But this is true for most camera four years old. What I learned from doing a comparison with the better Nikon 4800, is how important a good lens is. Even though the Nikon is better then the fuji in almost every respect. I still find the better, sharper fujion lens, enough of a bonus to want to sell my Nikon and experience the sharper lens of the fuji even with all its faults,. Now years later I still have the fui and not the NIKON. The fuji chipset is soo bad I am now ready to recommend a NO in buying this camera.. If The 3800 has a very good reach for 6x as the focus range is geared toward tele end rather then wide angle one, starting at 38mm. The battery life is exceptional also taking double aa batteries. The camera is now cheap and a decent buy if you like pain..and a good lens. To sum up, I sold it and miss is oddly enough. The best lens I ever tried a sub 300 dollars digital. I realize Fuji has cameras out like this now, but is the lens as good or is it the same? Did I just get an anomoly or someone fix an old model up?
