Pros: Great pictures, easy to use and carry.
Cons: None that I can think of.
I have had absolutely NO bad experiences using this camera. I bought it as a "crossover" camera for times when I'd really love to have my DSLR with me and I just don't want to be bothered lugging all the "stuff" around. For traveling, it is sealed so you don't have to worry about dust on the sensor. Between its close-focusing, its superb zoom lens (28 to 300 equivalent), and all its manual controls, it will handle just-about any situation. The images are simply fantastic - especially when working in RAW! Fuji's Super CCD does a wonderful job - lots of detail and incredible color. This is not a camera that I would recommend for a "point-and-shoot" user - it is a bit of an overkill for that. However, for a casual and creative user, you can set it to one of the programmed modes and it is just fine. As compared to a SLR (digital or not), the electronic viewfinder takes some getting used-to. Having a manual-zoom is great - fewer buttons to push and much more control.
