| vanillosa's Full Review: Fujitsu LIFEBOOK C6581 (FPCM57037) PC Notebook |
I have used this computer for 6 months now, and have been completely satisfied. I had never heard of Fujitsu before buying this computer, but have been very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this notebook. I have had absolutely no troubles with it since I've had it, even though it is on the Win98 OS.
The computer came with the AC adapter, battery, DVD software, Microsoft Works, and worked perfectly right out of the box.
128M ram isn't quite enough for some of the graphic-intensive programs that I have to run perfectly smoothly, like CAD modeling software, but there is a slot available to upgrade to 256MB memory.
The laptop weighs about 7lbs with the battery, but i haven't had any trouble carrying it back and forth to classes. Also no problem with it in the airports.
All in all, this is a very comfortable computer to work with, and the keyboard is not cramped, the touchpad and scroll buttons are quite intuitive. I am very happy with my computer, and would buy from Fujitsu again if the opportunity arose.
