Yeah, but it's really strong. I could tell an interesting story about me and ESB, but perhaps I'll save it for another time...hic.

Cheers,
Kate

Hiccough - ESB - stands for Extra Special Braindamage (burp). Enjoy!!

I have tried many English beers on tap, but it's only in the last year or so that I've come to appreciate different styles. I know that I tried London Pride at some time on tap, but would be unable to tell you anything about it. I did try Pride and ESB, over the weekend wwhich I will be adding to the misc section today.

Such is my life, I usually don't get home from work until 11 or 12, but sometimes when I write reviews I forget what time it is. Anyway nice to know you're still reading at 3.30 am.

I've always wanted to dig into Dave, so now was the perfect time. Maybe the Kings (LA), will keep surprising us too. It was a sad day for my main passion though, Leeds United's fairytale in the European Cup finally ended.

As for the beer I bought this and the 1845 at Jensens. The 1845 was actually best before March, but as bottle conditioned still tasted great.

Andrew: Great review. Where did you find/buy this porter?

I don't think Dave "teykaerts" is going to write here anymore. He's been busy at RATEBEER.COM -- but I am sure he is not happy about our local team, the Lakers, and their dominating performance.

But... I sure would like to see teykaerts return. His reviews were fun to read.

You are a freakin' night owl.
