The Light And Sound Green Military Humvee was one of those trucks that just happened to be on sale so I picked it up for my boys. The humvee blends in so well with the other 25 military trucks my sons have, that I had to go through something that resembled an army base to dig this truck out so I could do this review properly.

What caught my attention with this truck was not only the sale price tag of $6.99 but that it had working lights & sounds, and was camouflage. I knew instantly my boys would enjoy this.

The Light And Sound Green Military Humvee is all painted in camouflage color. There are a few US Army, Humvee, and GI Joe stickers on it, along with vehicle identification numbers and 2 American flags. The humvee looks just like a real humvee with 4 doors, blacked out windows, headlights, an antenna, and a brush guard across the front. The humvee measures 13 inches long and 5 inches high. The doors on the humvee do not open which is just about the only downfall to this humvee. The whole humvee is plastic and the only thing metal on it is the wheel rods, but they are covered with plastic pieces also.

On one of the doors on the humvee there are 3 buttons. These buttons are to hear the sounds and have the lights turn on. One button is to make machine gun firing noises, one button is for another type of gun firing, and the third button is to make explosion noises. When each button is pressed the lights on the front of the humvee will blink either fast or slow depending on the button you pressed.

The humvee has held both my 3 year old and my 7 year olds attention. The humvee is easy to push on the ground or the rug and will usually travel far with a good push. The wheels are thin plastic but we have not had a problem with the wheels breaking or falling off yet, and it has been about 6 months since we've had this humvee. Considering this is made out of not so expensive plastic, it has stood up pretty good with the abuse from the other trucks and from my boys.

If you are looking for an inexpensive gift for a GI Joe fan or a truck fan, then I would highly recommend the Light And Sound Green Military Humvee. After hearing the sounds and having the lights go, the little GI Joe will not even be bothered anymore that GI Joe cannot sit in his humvee.

The humvee comes with batteries already installed, but for when the time comes you will need 2 AA batteries. The battery compartment is underneath the humvee and is held on to the humvee with a door that is screwed onto the humvee.
