First let me state that I love my Fuzzi Bunz! It is the work horse of cloth diapers. Both the old and the new are great. I use both and absolutely love them.
The old Fuzzi Bunz: Pros: Excellent pocket diaper. No leaks. The legs had enough elastic to get a great fit. Very durable diaper. Looks and performs great wash after wash. VERY TRIM. FITS UNDER CLOTHING WELL!
Cons: Inconsistency on the sizing. One diaper doesn't fit the same as the next. The diaper folds over some at the top of the diaper (even at tightest settings). Cost. Very expensive to get established. Not as cost effective as one size diapers, but generally a better fit.
The NEW Fuzzi Bunz: Pros: The easy grip tabs that are larger are a nice change. The elastic around the legs is stretchier and is less prone to leave marks on baby (however, it is more likely to leak). The fleece is softer and a little thicker than the old style. The sizing from one diaper to the next is more consistent. Also, the new style of diaper doesn't have the same fold over issues that the old style did. STILL VERY TRIM AND FITS WELL UNDER CLOTHING!
Cons: The new style diapers are larger than the old style. The small in the new style is almost the same size as the medium in the old style. The new style size small doesn't fit until about 8-10 pounds. Cost. Very expensive to start out. However, this is cheaper than disposables in the long run.
