GE Harmony - Not A Good Choice For Comforter

Pros: The washer will get your clothes and towels clean. Plus I like the custom cycles.

Cons: Will not clean a queen or king size comforter.

The Bottom Line: If you/re looking for a HE washer that will clean medium loads = good choice. If you're washing larger loads and/or comforters I would recommend a front loader.

Now that I've had my washer and dryer for over 2 years, I feel as if I can really give an accurate description of the pros and cons of this washer. Bottom line it will get your clothes clean with less water but more time. But it will not again will not clean a queen or king size comforter. Once the basket is filled with water the comforter sits about 6 inches above the water level and there is no way this portion of the comforter will ever get clean. In addition to not cleaning my comforter the washer ripped a queen and king sized comforter.

I did have a service call to address the issue but they said the washer works the way it was designed to work and if it won't wash my comforters I should go to the laundry mat to have them cleaned there. Personally I think that defeats the purpose of having a king size large capacity washer and dryer in my home.

This is not a washer I would recommend to a friend. No one wants to go to the laundry mat to wash a comforter when they have a washer and dryer in the home
