The GT Karakoram is an incredible mountian bike for an internmediate rider. I am quite shotrt and need a very small bike. The bike can not be too stiff as I am smaller and a stiff bike has not movement for someone like me.
The GT Karakoram is a fast bike can be fully outfitted an continually improved by upgrading components.
IT is stiff enough or someone like me to feel that it has a lot of speed, but at the same time supple enought to give as you tear down dirt mountain trails.
THe GT gears switch smoothly and give you plenty of poewer to go up the steepest hills as well as jam down the straightaways.
Bottom line- you will fall in love with the GT Karakoram.
