cusnwalter's Full Review: Gamewright Hit Or Miss Game
I bought Hit or Miss for my neighbor as a birthday gift. We play board type games all the time and I thought this would be a change to the traditional stuff. It was a GREAT change. Hit or Miss is a fast out of the box, easy to learn, game for everyone in the family to play. In this timed thinking game, players must write down everything they can think of about a selected topic. After a minute each player picks something that wrote that they think everyone will also have, hit, or not have, miss. Everyone gets a turn and another topic is selected. After eight rounds the player with the most points wins. It takes 2 minutes to learn and about 30 minutes, depending on the number of people, to play. Some of the possible topics that you might write about are Items in a purse Famous people with the first name bill Cities that begin with the letter R Types of flowers Beach Things
I have played this game over 20 times and it really never gets that old boring played out game feeling. The type of experience you have always changes because of the different topics and also the people you play with. If I had to compare this game with another one I would say it is kind of similar to Scategories in that you have to list items surrounding a topic and also have to match other peoples responses.
I would recommend Hit or Miss as a family game and also as a great party game. As long as you have enough paper and pencils to go around there is no limit to the amount of people you can play with. The game comes with 6 note pads, a score pad, 6 pencils, 6 hit or miss cards, sand timer, and a rules booklet.
