Pros: adjustable handle for height, it is so easy to turn soil, and pull weeds.
Cons: my friends borrow it and I have to go get it back when I want to use it.

| SherLesa's Full Review: Garden Claw Gold |
I inherited my Garden Claw from my Great Uncle. I just threw it in the garage with my other garden tools and forgot it was in there. Last summer we moved to a new house and the flower beds were badly neglected. I got all my garden tools out and saw the claw in there and thought I would give it a shot.
I was amazed at how it turned the dirt over. You jab it into the dirt and with a simple twist it pulls up weeds, and grass roots with a breeze. It cut my garden time in half without making me tired and my back and knees hurting from being bent over.
I tried to use it on hard packed dirt, and I had a hard time getting the claw in the soil, so I saturated the soil I wanted to turn over with water, waited about 2 hours for it to soak in and dry a little, then went to work. I had no problems getting the Claw in the soil after I soaked it a little.
I like the fact that the height is adjustable on the handle. I am 5'3" and I have a friend that is 5'10" and she borrows it all the time, so we adjust the handle and we can both use it with ease.
I would recommend this as a gift to the gardener in your family. Now that I have used it and love it so much, I cant imagine using anything else to get the weeds out of my flower beds.
