sfvas's Full Review: Garmin StreetPilot c330 Car GPS Receiver
I bought this GPS for my business and love it's simple interface. The box includes a booklet (which I never read), mount of windshield, mount plate for dash/other surface, and charger. Out of the box, all you do is plug it it and let it load up. In 5 minutes you are driving from point A to B. It is so simple if a child could use it. I have friends that have built in GPS systems that they don't use because it's too complex.
I looked and researched for a GPS for months. It was down to the Garmin 2700/2600, C340, Tomtom Go 300, and even looked at Garmin i models. The 2700 is good because it has multiple routes and lets you exclude roads not to take, but I hated the menu. The Tomtom was easy to use, but the reviews showed that it was not as accurate in US. C340 has the text to voice, which gives directions in plain english and traffic avoid receiver capable, but did not want to pay another $200 for it. Volume button is on the side, rather than in a menu like on the Tomtom.
The C330 shows the next turn up at top and verbal commands are clear and loud. The screen is clear. The mount is one of the best I have seen. It will not move or fall off! All the maps are pre-loaded, so you don't have to worry about sitting there and loading everything up.
Good Price for what you get. Very good choice for a simple, A to B GPS. Does not have routes to avoid (but if you take your route, it will re-calc it very quickly).
