Pros:Smaller compact, memory system, GPS, Value
Cons:Battery life
The Bottom Line: The bottome line is this masterful watch is a must need tool for anyone that wants to record their workouts.
As a division one collegiate long distance runner it is imperative that I track the many miles that I run. If you are like me and hate having to deal with tedious work and set up times then this watch is definitely for you. It almost comes ready right out of the box basically all you have to do is set the time just like you would any old watch. You do have to charge it for a period of time before you can use it. I believe it is something like 4-6 hours for the initial charge. In reality though this is just the same amount of time it would take to charge a new cell phone. Once it is charged you are ready to use your watch. The cool features of this watch is that it has all the same abilities as the original Garmins however it is in a nice compact stealthy look rather than that heavy large square on your arm. The great thing about this watch is there is an attachment to place a heart monitor on it. Which, is a really cool feature to help you calculate your VO2 max which really works in your favor for training purposes. Another great thing about this watch it the storage ability it has a massive storage component that usually lets me chart out my entire week. I really enjoy the watch to computer feature as well it really helps keep a brilliant log of your runs. The only downfall of this watch is that the battery goes dead very easily if you forget to charge it after you run! So the cure for this problem is to remember to charge the battery after you use the watch. The price of the watch is surprisingly cheap for the amount of stuff that it can do. However, if you chose to by another brand at a cheaper price, it most likely will not have the same features, similar but not the same. Overall this is a fantastic watch at a very good value!!!
