I really think that different types of hair requires different types of shampoos and conditioners to get the best desired results. What might work good for one persons hair might not work good for another persons hair. The reason why I think this is because from reading the many Epinions reviews on different shampoos and conditioners there are so many different opinions on different kind of hair products. So I think that one must explore different types of hair care products to find the one that works best for them. For me I have found that Garnier Fructis for Dry and Damaged Hair is a great product for my hair. I have very long, thick, and slightly wavy hair which is awfully difficult to manage at times. Through the years my hair has become very dry and somewhat damaged. I have decided that the 70 cent shampoo that I have been using although practical and very pretty smelling was not working well for my hair. My hair was often frizzy, big and fluffy, and unhealthy looking. So I decided to find a different shampoo and conditioner to use; so thus my search began. Upon this search I wanted to find something that would make my hair smoother, and more healthy, but I also wanted to keep price in mind. To spend an large amount of money on just shampoo and conditioner to me just seems unnecessary.
On my first attempt I tried a bottle of Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Sleek Shampoo. It was about $3.00 which was a little more then what I would probably want to spend but it also included a small bottle of conditioner so it wasn’t a too bad of a deal, because I was able to try the shampoo along with the conditioner without having to pay for two bottles. I got this deal at a Marcs which does seem to have the best prices when it comes to hair products. I must say that this product did make my hair much more smoother, and silkier, and less fluffy and frizzy, but my hair still seemed very dry which remained an unsolved problem when it came to using this shampoo.
When that bottle finally ran out I decided to go to another route. Luckily for me there was a coupon in the newspaper for Garnier Fructis which in fact led me in the correct direction. At marcs a bottle of Garnier Fructis was about $3 as well but with the coupon I got it for $2. I had two coupons so I purchased both Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry and Damaged Hair and let me tell it you it worked wonders for my hair. I should have gone this route long ago. The name dry and damaged hair defiantly describes my hair. Even in the commercials when they showed before and after pictures of peoples hair; my hair looked like the before pictures with dry unhealthy hair that falls out when you brush it (just like the lady in the commercial!!). I should have known that this shampoo was exactly right for me. From using this product my hair has been healthier, shinier, smoother, and most importantly it made my hair not dry and damaged. It strengthens the damaged stands of hair, and also replenishes them with moisture. This product has definitely greatly improved my hair. Another thing that I really liked about Garnier Fructis is that it has such a great fragrance. Its this awesome fruity smell!!
If you think that you have dry and damaged hair this product will probably work great for your hair too, but don’t take my word for it! (that sounds like a reading rainbow ad) You really need to go out there and find the best product for you. If your hair needs to be more smooth and sleek find something that will make it smooth and sleek, if your hair is dry and damaged find something that will fix your dry and damaged hair.
