Pros: This product not only puts the shine back in your hair, it nourishes and rejuvenates.
Cons: Too much makes your hair oily.
The Bottom Line: I was quite surprised by the quality of this product. I would recommend it to anyone who needs some shine and sleekness to their style.

| 42ENGLISH's Full Review: Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Weightless Anti Friz... |
I have used quite a few anti-frizz products as I have about three inches of perm left in my hair, which makes the ends dry. I prefer to wear my hair straight now and I have to control the frizzies after blow-drying.
When I bought Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum, I was not expecting miracles. I hadnt used any Garnier Fructis products but I had also not found an anti-frizz product which was effective yet so this was a new venture for me. I must say, the price had a lot to do with it (it was marked down from $7.99 to $5.99) and I will try anything once.
Packaging:
This product came in a round, transparent bottle with a green pump dispenser. The serum itself is also transparent and has a thin, oily consistency. I love the fruity scent which lingers all day, making your hair smell clean and fresh. This product is flammable until dry so it says to avoid, fire, flame or smoking until completely dry.
Ingredients:
Cyclopentasiloxane; Dimethiconol; Alcohol Denat.; C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate; Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil; Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil; Fragrance, Nutritive fruit micro-oils, extracted from avocado and apricot, Active fruit concentrate, Fruit acids, Vitamins, Fructose, Glucose.
Garniers claim:
* Locks out moisture:
* Ultra-light silicones tame frizz, flyaways
* Weightless conditioners improve hairs texture, manageability
* Nourishes hair making it 5x smoother and shinier
* Provides strong anti-frizz protection
* Guards against humidity for all types of hair
My experience
After washing, conditioning and blow-drying my hair, I apply one pump amount (about a dime-size) to the palm of my hand. I have found that the best way to apply it is to rub the palms together and liberally dab it lightly through the hair covering the whole length. I then flatten my hair from the parting down both sides and apply what is remaining. For extra-straight hair, use the straightening irons before application. Be careful not to use too much because it is oily and can make your hair look greasy. I found that out the first time I used it.
The effects of this product are exceptional. It leaves my hair sleek, soft and so much shinier than normal. It seems to nourish and give extra-conditioning to the ends which are much drier. My hair is super-straight and looks salon-styled with no fly-aways. I am forty-eight years old and I am hard on my hair. This product gives my hair the condition of an adolescent. I bought this bottle about six weeks ago and have hardly used half of it so far.
In conclusion, I think Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serum is fabulous for straight hair. It can be used for all types but I can only speak for straight hair. It gives more than the desired effect and is a quality anti-frizz product for a very good price. I cannot sing its praises enough.
