Pros:great smelling conditioner and wonderful price!
Cons:end result might not be the shade you expected
The Bottom Line: I really like the way my hair feels after using this kit. It is easy, although not 100% accurate in determining your shade.
Garnier Nutrisse nourishing color cremes are products that I have trusted and used for many years. In fact, the first time I dyed my hair during my college years, I used a nourishing creme shade.

I have never had an allergic reaction to this dye. It is gentle even when it spills on your skin. Wipe it off with warm water and it will easily remove. Spills are not as easy on your clothes, so make sure to wear something you don't care about when dying your hair.
Nutrisse products have never turned my hair orange or green when using extremely opposite colors than my original shade. I've always been content with the results.
One of the things I like best about the Garnier Nutrisse dyes is their smell. It doesn't reek of alcohol like some home dyes I've used. The color conditioner they provide with the kit smells fantastic and makes my hair silky smooth. I never have fly-aways after using this amazing conditioner. Unfortunately, it cannot be bought separately. Garnier encourages the use of their Color Shield conditioner for later use.
The kit is easy to use. Gloves and easy-to-follow directions are included. Simply use the applicator tip to separate your hair into quarter-inch sections. Saturate your roots and the length of your hair with the coloring mixture and let sit for 25-30 minutes. Since I have started to prematurely gray, I opted for the full 30 minutes.
My hair color before dying would be considered a light brown, as I still had remaining perma-color in my hair from a past salon visit. I chose #80 to lighten my hair and bring it closer to my natural shade. Although the end result is a pleasant and natural looking shade of dark honey blonde, it isn't the shade the box suggested I would get.
When choosing a color, remember that the shade shown on the box is not the color result you will get; it is the color of the dye you will be applying to your hair. Try matching your hair color to one of the shades shown on the box to see what your end result might be. Even then, it's not a guarantee it will be all that close. Whatever the end result is, there is a good chance you might be pleased with it anyway even if it's not what you anticipated. You might want to consider choosing a different shade than you were immediately drawn to in hopes that it might provide you with a more accurate hair color result.
