I bought the 400L series notebook for school. I was drawn to the notebook because it offers a 6-in-1 card reader. I have never seen this offered in a notebook before. It's convenient for transferring files from digital cameras or MP3 players. The computer is fairly sleek and light(around 7 lbs), considering the large screen size. It also comes a combination CD-RW/DVD drive, 56k modem, USB port, ethernet port, and PCMCIA slot. The screen is bright and big at 15". I can't find much fault in this notebook except for its weak sound quality. I ordered it from gateway.com; and so far service has been excellent.
