This system has been up and running for about a month now. In the box came the tower, flat panel as well as the necessary cables and a large easy enough to follow setup sheet as well as a well thought out manual for the unit. The unit has worked well out of the box. When the order was placed it was my understanding that the tower would come with a CD-ROM drive as well as a CD-RW. It came only with the CD-RW and floppy drive. Obviously, there was a mis-communication with my sales rep. But in spite of this I have not found it to be a real concern at least for me and have not opted to have a change made in the hardware con-figurataion of the tower. Perhaps more new systems are now being designed this way? On that point I am unsure. This unit is supplied with 256 DDR Ram while my last system had 512 SD Ram. With DDR offering approximately twice the performance of SD Ram I feel that I have lost little if anything. The system seems to run well and up to this point has been problem free. The 18 inch LCD looks good. This unit should be a good choice for anyone who does not feel the need for a top of the line system but still wants a well performing system that can handle many of the PC tasks that one may ask of it.
