Pros: Tons of RAM, tons of hard drive space, blazing fast dual core processor speed.
Cons: None so far... a separate video card would have been nice
From the very second that I fired up my new Gateway 835GM, I knew that I was going to be in for a treat. Every window that I clicked on, every program that I opened just popped right up, without a moment's hesitation. The BigFix software included with the 835GM instantly detected and told me that I had a BIOS update to install. It walked me right through everything, and more importantly, just about did everything for me. All I had to do was click Next, and Ok. If you are looking for blazing fast speed, the dual core processors won't disappoint you. For the money, I couldn't even begin to argue with what was included in my new system. One gig of RAM, a 250 gig hard drive, a dual layer DVD burner, and a DVD player to boot. Firewire ports, plenty of USB ports, and a data card reader all enhance this great computer. And, it comes in a very stylish silver case, with a neat looking blue light in the power button. There's tons more I could say here, but if any of you want my advice, run right out and grab one of these powerhouses.
