Pros: Looks cool, works good, and survives power outages.
Cons: some of the built in voice recordings are low quality.
The Bottom Line: Go buy it.

| jmfolcik's Full Review: General Electric 29878GE1 Digital Answering Machin... |
The model number on mine might mean a newer model than those who had audio problems, its 29878GE1-B. I find the audio quality to be just fine, and it stores 14 minutes of messages which is a long time in my book. During setup the voice talking about that its now time to setup the security code for remote access isn't understandable but if your following along in the manual you know what its talking about. It also stops greeting or recording when you are screening your calls and pickup the phone. I think the big LED on the front that indicates new messages is cool looking too, and you notice it right away when you get home. Allowing you to store a whole minute of a greeting is cool too, if you manage to find a minute long script to plug into computer voices to joke around, a half a minute long greeting the point where any more might have them not bother listening and hang up though.
