About the text messaging (Reply to this comment)

Text messaging is never included in such a plan wether it is a personal, a business or family plane. A text messaging plan is always optional; an add on plan. Which ranges from $9.99 - $20.00, I apprently have T-mobile, so I pay $9.95 extra a month for it. Funny thing is I text more than I talk, I guess it's because I'm of much younger age. Oh well, I don't use my minutes all so much.

You now have AT&T Wireless. Cingular was owned 60/40 by SBC and Bell South. With the merger of SBC and AT&T... and the ensuing venture between AT&T and Bell South, it's all one big happy family. The commercials over the past week or so are the first stab at rebranding Cingular.

This is one of those good things that has come out of telecommunications consolidation. I refused to do a Cingular review when it first came out because the service was... well, pretty lousy. Since SBC joined with AT&T, the service here in Michigan is excellent.

As an AT&T employee, I'll leave it to you folks to review. Nice job

Since the hurricane season of 2005, our service from Cingular has gone down the toilet and we often hear "well the hurricane....". Well it's over a year later. I think it might be time for it to be FIXED!

Excellent review. I'm envious.

was hit with a $300 bill and disputed it. The first person she spoke to was a "so sad, too bad" type even when she threatened to switch to another carrier. She then spoke to a person in a mor senior position and her bill was knocked down to $70 something and he explained sev' add'l services to help avoid this problem and set her up with a great plan for $39/mo. If you have a problem go to the top it isn't always the carrier thats at fault it may be poor representation
