I chose Crickit Wireless about 2 months ago over several other options. As I was looking for a new wireless service I realized that there weren't many choices that didn't require a long term commitment. One of my friends tipped me into choosing Cricket and I checked it out.
Again the reason I narrowed it to Cricket is the attractiveness of no long term commitment. I have been with several carriers over the years and I am most pleased with those that don't have you tied up for several years. Cricket's commitment is month to month, no contract needed.
Secondly I love the fact that it's relatively affordable. I hate rollover minutes. I hate having to watch them, and I hate going over and paying astronomical fees to cover it. With Cricket's plan you pay $47.00 / month flat fee and that includes unlimited text and unlimited minutes to anyone in the US. This is a very attractive sale.
Some things I hate about it since I have had it since purchasing are first I get dropped calls out the wazoo. People say they have called me and it never shows up on caller ID. I hate that. The coverage is relatively good but I hate not knowing if I have received a major phone call.
Secondly I hate that they don't tell you that voice mail is included. It makes no sense. I tried many times to leave a message on my voicemail and finally I had to call there headquarters only to find that I couldn't leave a message without paying another five dollars for voice activation per month.
Third I hate that you can't receive or make calls outside of the valley you purchased the phone in. I recently made a trip to California and realized there was no chance of connecting with anyone outside of Utah County.
Overall I love the unlimited, no contract option but I hate dropped / no calls showing up, and I hate leaving the county and not being able to talk. The salesmen never explained any of this to me.
