The original Foreman grill was a great thing- you can do one or two burgers or chicken breast halves, drain off the fat and get a healthy meal in minutes. But cleaning it was a pain--electric appliances can't be submerged in water, so it meant a lot of swiping with dishrag or paper towel to remove grilled-on grease and juices.

The Grilleration does indeed do four burgers, so works for families. The removable grids mean washing in the sink, not wiping down on the counter.
Some caveats: don't let the grill heat too high without slapping your food on it asap; it will smoke. And don't wash the grids in the dishwasher even though it says "you can." The heat of the dry cycle can warp the plates. I also recommend that you wash those plates as soon as they cool as they invariably have baked-on juices from your meat or fish. This is protein and cooked protein is hard to remove. It sticks, no matter what. While it is not hard to wash off, it does require some scrubbing with the included soft sponges.
Therefore, the cleaning NEEDS to be done asap, as soon as the unit is cooled sufficiently. Leave it overnight? It will be very difficult to scrub clean.
The food gets nicely grilled, there is no charcoal or gas odor, and it's fast. I like the metallic color, goes with any kitchen. Recommended for wedding, graduation, college dorm or summer home.
