If there was one appliance in our kitchen my mom would not get rid of, it would be our George Foremann grill. The reason she is so happy to have this, is because it allows me, a seventeen year old kid, to cook for myself. Not only does it allow me to cook, I can make healthy meals, such as chicken or steak, quickly and easily.

The grill is very simple to operate. First attach the removable grilling plates, then plug it in and turn it on. I would recommend putting the grill near an exhaust fan, because the exhaust fumes that exit in the back of the grill. When you turn the grill on and shut the lid, a light will come on; this means the grill is pre- heating. I usually take this time to defrost whatever meat I am going to be cooking. Also, remember to place the collection tray at the bottom of the grill. When the light goes off, the grill is ready to cook.
The thing I like about this grill the most is that the grilling plates can be removed and put in the dishwasher to clean. We owned an earlier model grill that the plates could not be removed from. This made cleaning extremely difficult, and caused me to use the grill less often. Now, I use the grill almost every night to make chicken breast, or steak. The food tastes delicious, and is healthy. Another benefit of this grill is the floating hinge that allows differnt thcknesses of meat to be cooked.
There is a two year manufacturers limited warranty on the grill. This basically covers any defect caused by the manufacturer of the grill; not normal wear and tear.
