Pros: Smells wonderful, hypoallergenic and tear free, cleans nicely, leaves skin and hair soft
Cons: Not many natural ingredients are used in this product.

My husband and I were so woefully unprepared the day we brought our first daughter home from the hospital. We had nothing ready. Her room wasn't complete, no bottles had been made, diapers and wipes were in a pile in the corner along with other things given to us at our baby shower. When we found out that we were going to have another baby, we made sure that we were prepared the day she came home. When my husband was ready to leave for the store later that day he asked me if there was anything that we needed for the baby. We were so prepared this time that the only thing I could come up was some type of baby bath wash and what he brought home was Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash.
All About Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash
Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash is a baby wash that is meant for the body and also for the hair. The size bottle we have is 15 ounces and that is the only size that our local grocery store sells. There may be other sizes available but in our little city, this is the only size that we can get.
Just like most baby bath products, Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash is tear free and hypoallergenic. According to the back of the bottle, it contains a blend of vitamins and natural ingredients including Vitamin A, E and Aloe Vera.
The directions on the bottle says to dispense some wash into your hand or onto a wash cloth or into the bath itself. Clean baby's wet skin and hair then rinse with clear water. It also suggests that you use Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Lotion after the bath. I haven't tried the lotion because I already have other baby lotions on hand.
The ingredients listed are:
Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, PEG-150 Distearate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quarternium-15, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl, Palmitate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Sodium Hydroxide.
Why We Like Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash
One of the reasons that I love Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash is the smell. It's just absolutely heavenly! After I give Katelyn a bath I find myself repeatedly smelling her throughout the day. She just smells so sweet and yummy that I can't stop sniffing her, especially her hair. This bath wash is very gentle on her skin and leaves it feeling very soft without feeling greasy. Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash also does a wonderful job on her hair. It doesn't dry it out nor does it weight it down. It rinses off her body and hair quite easily and makes bathing her fast and simple. I also like the amount of suds it produces using only a very small amount of product.
The only con that I can think of is that Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash doesn't use very many natural ingredients in this bath wash. Most of the ingredients listed I've never heard of and couldn't even begin to pronounce. I do believe that natural products are better for our bodies but I also have to say that we've had no problems with this bath wash at all. Overall I highly recommend Gerber Grins & Giggles Sweet Pea Bath Wash to any parent with a baby or even a small child.
