yes I am. Had a Black Beauty and I know about walking funny after playing all night. The sound is seductive when you fill a music hall with a paul, though! Great rundown, bud! ;->

you are right about killing your back (Reply to this comment)

I own a heritage (les paul-ish) 150CM ultra with HRW pickups.
These guitars can do a lot from rock, blues to jazz. It is not just for rock contrary to popular belief.
It is a very very heavy guitar. I can only play it 1.5 hours at one go before my back starts to hurt.
I play my USMasters "strat" most of the time now.

I finally played a Les Paul for the first time a few months ago, and my back just about fell off!
But the sound was awesome.
