LP Studio is the way to go (Reply to this comment)

the purpose of the studio version was for folks who wanted the LP sound and tone and everything but could do away with some of the external decorative stuff. hence "studio" meaning for use in the studio.

even then, the LP studio still looks good, and it's the way to go if you want an LP... enjoy your new guitar...
