| Pba4evr's Full Review: Giro Exodus |
I am quite an avid mountain-biker and pride myself in the fact that I hit the dirt more than anybody else that I know. This makes the encasement of my head even more important to me than the average casual biker. This is why when I sought to find a helmet I probably tried on 10 different models and the clear winner was, surprise: the Giro Exodus.
When seeking to find a helmet you should look for one that fits your head and is comfortable to you. I find the Giro Exodus to be very comfortable and all the vents make me forget that I am wearing it at all. The Giro Exodus is also very light (11 oz) and allows you all the motion that you need to ride safely.
The other thing that struck my eye about the Giro Exodus is very cool looking. The night that I brought my helmet home I was having trouble finding it until I went into my nephew's room to say "goodnight" when I realized that he was wearing it, sleeping! This is a statement both to how cool it looks and how comfortable it is that it is possible to fall-asleep wearing it.
The price is also very reasonable ($52.00) and I did not hesitate at all in shelling out the money for this sleek hat. If you are looking for a SAFE, cool-looking, light, cheep helmet for you or your kids, this is the helmet for you.
