Pros: Has everything but the kitchen sink! Energizing, reasonably priced
Cons: Pills are on the large side (but can be broken/crushed)
Let me start out by saying, I hate taking pills of any kind. Back when we were first dating five years ago, my husband had to twist my arm to get me to start taking vitamins. Not wanting to be like my mother, who takes seven different vitamins a day, my husband recommended GNC Women's Ultra Mega Vitamins, as he takes the men's version. I've been taking them for five years now, and although the thought of pills still makes me gag, I can't imagine NOT taking them.
These are the most complete vitamins I have been able to come across anywhere. Everything you could possibly need is included in these tablets, and even a bunch of stuff that, while it isn't proven that you need it, certainly isn't hurting anything. I've actually wondered if it would be possible to sustain life off of nothing but these vitamins and water, although I am not willing to test that theory out.

As a dietary supplement, take two tablets daily with food. Store in a cool, dry place. Personally, I do advise that these are taken on a full stomach. I find that when I take both on an empty stomach, I get a mild but uncomfortable irritation. I have been taking mine just after dinner since I started taking them, but you can take them any time of day and you do not need to take both at the same time. If you have a sensitive stomach, I recommend taking one in the morning and one in the evening, just in case. These are timed release vitamins - they break down over the course of five hours so your body has more time to absorb the nutrients and get the full effect, and less of the vitamin is turned into waste.
Cellulose, Titanium Dioxide (Natural Mineral Whitener), Vegetable Acetoglycerides, Chlorophyll, Cryptoxanthin
No artificial colors, no artificial flavors, no preservatives, sodium free, wheat free, gluten free, no soy, no dairy, yeast free. Pretty much anyone can take these safely.
Why I became so loyal to taking these vitamins.
After just a week of taking these, I noticed I had so much more energy than I had ever had before. Also, getting up in the morning became much easier, a minor miracle for me. If I go more than two or three days without taking them, I start to notice that I feel more sluggish again. I know I don't really eat a proper diet, so I assume that these are compensating for that a bit as well. I hate that tired feeling, and I won't go anywhere without taking these vitamins with me. My only complaint is that they are slightly on the large side - about an inch long and about a half inch thick. Not huge, but awkward until you get used to them. It is safe to crush/break these if desired.
These are also available in a mens' formula (which my husband takes and swears by as well). There is also a Women's Ultra Mega Timed Release Tablets without Iron for those who are sensitive or have certain conditions. These can be purchased at any GNC store and a handful of websites including Drugstore.com. Prices are the same no matter which you buy them from, but GNC stores often run specials at the beginning of the month and sometimes you can get a better deal. A bottle of 90 (lasts 45 days if taken as directed) costs about $17.00, a bottle of 180 (lasting 90 days) costs about $30.00. I think there is a larger size as well, but I am not positive. There is also a 10-day guarantee so you can try it and if you don't like it, return the part you didn't use and they give you a full refund (now there's a guarantee!)
