The Bottom Line: I would recommend GoVideo DVR4250 DVD/VCR player to anyone who is looking to combine two forms of entertainment in an economical way. It is high quality at a reasonable rate.

I purchased my GoVideo DVD/VCR from Best Buy in NJ. I spent $155 on it and it was worth every penny. I previously had owned a separate DVD player and VCR and it was horribly annoying needing separate remotes for everything and worrying about what was and wasn't turned on etc etc. This player is fantastic. The remote offers an extensive array of features. It is reliable when using the timer to catch your favorite shows while you are at work. The DVD never skips as most players normally do. And it is wonderful that I can take movies that I have enjoyed on DVD and transfer them to tape so that my grandmother (who refuses to learn to use a DVD player) can watch them. A round of applause to a convenient and entertaining DVD/VCR
