Costing between $90 and $100, this is the much needed display portion of the GoWear Fit! You can use the GoWear Fit without it and make sure you like it, but once you are hooked like I am you will find that you want the display, too. The GoWear Fit is a calorie burning tracking device which precisely tell you how active you have been through out the day
The GoWear Display allows you to see your activity, steps, and calories burned through out the day in almost real time as it is synced with the GoWear Fit Armband and updates its info every 60 seconds. This is a great tool to make you motivated into maybe taking that extra walk or the stairs instead of the elevator.
Set up, Charging, Etc...
There is no set up really for the display portion of this system. Once the GoWear Fit Armband is set up, it is easy to sync between the tow pieces. You press two buttons on the display and it asks you to press the only button on the armband piece. You wait a second or two and then it welcomes you and has a custom read out with all your measured stats.
The display device comes with wither either a watch like attachment or a clip - I prefer the clip, but both seem to be wonderful options.
Using it is simple...
You can toggle between calories burned, steps, activity and the time, but also can switch to yesterday's view if you like, too. The buttons are easy to use and it shows you what your goals are, too. Once goals have been met the system alerts you which is a great feature. I also like that the display not only tells you how much activity you have, but also tells you how much was moderate and how much was vigorous. I love being able to glance down and see where I am at in my day!
