| bellogirl's Full Review: Gold Bond Medicated Anti-Itch Cream |
Gold Bond has always been a favorite of mine. I suffer from minor athletes foot and Gold bond cream does wonders for that irritating itch right between the toes! And I know it's working cuz it tingles my foot! I like the menthol in Gold Bond. It great to know that it's an all natural ingredient and the smell is quite pleasant. This is a great anti-itch cream! It is very potent and really gets rid of that itch fast.
I apply the cream using a Q-Tip or cotton balls in order to rid myself the task of having to wash my hands. Thing is - with Gold Bond, the itch is relieved by the menthol. If you apply the cream with your fingers and you touch your eyes by accident, it will sting! I don't have kids, but I don't recommend applying Gold Bond with your fingers or on your kids. If you apply Gold Bond to a child, he or she might rub it into their eyes by accident. I also don't recommend applying Gold bond to sensitive spots. I don't mean to be distasteful, but this is just back up my point. I remember my boyfriend had a terrible itch on his upper inner thigh. I tossed him my tube of Gold Bond. He applied it generously. The itch was gone! But what did appear in replacement was a terribly uncomfortable tingly sting. He had applied the cream to his upper inner thighs. He had closed his legs and the cream also spread to his "you know what." And like I said, Gold Bond contains Menthol. Enough said.
