Can you believe this place ever was a Hilton? (Reply to this comment)
by nvherron
The Goldbelt originally opened as the Juneau Hilton. It has changed owners several times, being known also as the Sheffield Juneau and the Westmark Juneau. The Baranof is not much better. But at least it's historical and the stairs are inside! What a concept.
Thanks for the review...

Rooms? Lobby? (Reply to this comment)
by tombarnes
As Susie noted, perhaps a few more details about the rooms themselves would help readers get a better picture of the place. I know there might not be much to discuss about the lobby and dining rooms, but this might also help. Tom Barnes

So what did you get for your money. (Reply to this comment)

Did the room just come as a room, or did you get any extras.
Such as, hairdryer, safe, fridge, etc.
I really do expect to have these if I stay anywhere.
Susie.
