Pros: Fresh and tasty food - great Veggie menu too
Cons: Not in my neighborhood and only in Southern Cali.
The Bottom Line: This is one of the best burgers in Los Angeles. So much so, that it spawned four restaurants.

| criteeker's Full Review: Good Stuff Burgers |
Back in my college days, I had three favorite burger spots.
Wolf Burgers of Pasadena, The Apple Pan in Westwood and Good Stuff Burgers in West Los Angeles. Back in those days, Good Stuff was a burger stand at another location a few blocks away from where they are now.
They are now located in a mini-mall (The Westside Plaza) a block East of Bundy on Olympic Blvd. It's on the North side of Olympic and the plaza is situated next to the Chevron gas station. 11903 W. Olympic Blvd to be exact.
Hours:
Open 7 days a week!
Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 9 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 8 AM - 8 PM
Breakfast is served:
M - F: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Sat: 8 AM - 12 Noon
Sun: 8 AM - 8 PM (all day)
Breakfast Menu highlights:
Fresh (Orange, Carrot, Odwallah and fruit smoothies) juices from $2.60 - $4.75
A variety of egg dishes from $$4.25 to $6.75 (including the "Fitness Breakfast" which is 6 egg whites scrambled and served with a turkey patty, brown rice and fresh fruit.
Omelettes that range from $5.50 to $6.95 (including their Cassidy Garden Omelette - which is fresh broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, mushrooms, red onions topped with cheddar and swiss cheese.
Breakfast Wrapps (yes, they spell it wrapps) range from $5.50 to $6.50 - including the California Breakfast Wrapp - which is eggs with turkey, avocado, bacon, tomato and cheese with potatoes wrapped in a gourmet spinach herd tortilla. YUMMY!
They also offer a myriad of other breakfast goodies like pancakes, French toast, stuffed pitas, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, etc.
As for liquid stuff, they offer a variety of teas and coffees and the usual trendy coffee-type drinks. They range from the $1.60 Espresso to the $2.85 Iced Mocha.
Lunch and Dinner menu:
The burgers range from "The Original" at $3.85 to the avocado, bacon, cheeseburger for $5.30. I usually go for the Avocado and Cheddar for $4.95.
They also serve up some yummy "veggie" burgers that include The veggie burger for $4.25, M&M Veggie burger for $5.15 and "Chad's Favorite" (sliced turkey, veggie patty, mozzarella cheese and the usual trimmings stacked high on a wheat bun) for $5.65.
Their salads range from the basic dinner salad for $2.50 to the Tuna or Avocado/Tuna and Cobb salads for $6.50. At the top of the salad chain, there is the "Southwestern Chicken Salad" (seasoned chicken breast, avocado, black beans, cheese, tomato, onion and cilantro on a bed of chopped lettuce) at $7.95. These salads are top-notch and very fresh.
Dressings offered are Ranch, Italian, 1000 Island, Blue Cheese, Oriental, Non-Fat Honey Mustard and Non-Fat Tomato Basil Viniagrette.
As far as the sandwich menu goes, their B.L.T. goes for $4.10 and goes up to the Turkey Club at $7.95. Notables include the Mahi sandwich for $5.95, the Teriyaki Chicken for $5.95, the grilled Olympic Dog for $4.10 and the Tuna sandwich for $5.40. These sandwiches are very yummy.
The "wrapps" are similar to the breakfast menu's choices... Without the eggs. They range from the California Wrapp at $6.50 to the BBQ Chicken and Bacon for $5.95. These wrapps are great for on the go snacks and a lower carb alternative to the sandwiches.
They also offer "stuffies" which are stuffed pitas and side orders like fries, baked potatoes, steamed veggies and breaded mushrooms.
For desert, they offer brownies, cookies and $2 carrot cake that is to DIE FOR.
The offer a wide variety of drinks as well. Sodas and tea from the fountain (bottomless cups) are $1.40 for the 16 oz and $1.80 for the 32 oz. Raspberry iced tea, mango passion fruit tea and unsweetened lemonade are the same prices. They also offer milk, waters, coolers, IBC soda in a bottle and $3.50 shakes or smoothies.
The burgers from this place made them famous. So much so that it turned into four other locations. While the other four locations are really restaurants, they are owned by the same owner. A nice guy actually. This location is really a burger stand type of place and I have yet to try one of their restaurants. The decor is, what I like to call, sterile industrial. Most everything is white and it has exposed beams, with the large nuts & bolts with vaulted ceilings found in old lofts.
The West LA location's numbers are (310) 477-9011 and (310) 477-9012. You may also fax in an order at (310) 477-8677. While they do NOT deliver, they have contracted "City Fare" to do the deliveries. Contact them at (310) 966-1919.
They accept Visa, MC, Amex and Discover BUT they do NOT accept checks.
Parking:
The plaza offers about 50 spaces for about 10 businesses - 6 of which are food places. Otherwise parking might be a challenge on Olympic or surrounding streets. I have never had an issue finding a space though.
I love this place and I have NEVER had a complaint for any reason. the place is very clean and well-kept. Even the unisex bathroom is sparkling clean. Yes, it is up to code for a disabled person. The only reason I didn't rate this place 5 stars for presentation is due to the fact that it's a bit sterile atmosphere and not as comfy as the more intimate restaurant seating.
Burgers and fries are served in retro-style plastic baskets and the place has bar stool seating and cafe-style square tables and diner-type chairs.
The burgers tend to take a bit longer to get to your mouth due to the fact that they are very meticulous in preparation. Each burger is made with care - and it shows.
Good Stuff is a great place to take a date who may or may not be a veggie person. The food is always good and fresh. I have taken a few friends to this place, and they say the same thing, "This is a great burger" or "This is very fresh food" or "Why have I not heard about this place before?"

Notes, Tips or Menu Recommendations The WLA location is more of a fast food burger place. If you''re looking for a sit-down restaurant, try their other locations in the beach communities. Best Suited For: Trendy Crowd
