Pros: Good handling on snow and dry asphalt. They look good too.
Cons: Expensive, and with all-seasons you always sacrifice some winter performance.

| smushmouth's Full Review: Goodyear Assurance TripleTred Tire |
I wanted an all-season tire that could last and still get me up to the mountains of Colorado on the weekends in my front wheel drive sedan. I have had the Blizzak tire and high-end summer tires before, but was tired of the expense of two sets of tires and wanted to avoid the hassle of switching tires twice a year. I tested these going up a steep snow packed road where four wheel drive is often required in the winter. I made it up, with little slipping. Not as good on snow as the Blizzak, but I'm hoping these will not get killed by asphalt like those did. On a four hour drive back from the mountains on dry highway, they performed fine and were relatively quiet. I have only had these for two weeks now, so I can't comment on their wear. If I had to make this purchase again, I'd get the same tires. If, however, you live somewhere where snow is on the ground all winter, the Blizzak is unbelievable. It just gets ripped down fast on asphalt. Oh yeah, I think the tread design on the TripleTred looks cool too.
