Pros: Good dry handling, pretty quiet even at 120 mph.
Cons: Loses air, slippery when wet, manufacturer's defects.
The Bottom Line: For roughly the same money, you can buy a much better quality tire.

| jayman151's Full Review: Goodyear Eagle RSA Passenger/Performance Tire |
I recently bought a 2004 Maxima with Eagle RS-A 245/45-R18's as the OEM tires. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I have experienced many of the negatives most of the other reviewers have. They feel fine & quiet on dry roads and since I live in Florida, I don't have to deal with snowstorms. However, we do get a lot of rain, and the tires feel very squirrelly on the wet roads. The front tires (where most of the load is on this car) seem to lose about 1 psi every week, and the front right tire has developed a bubble in the sidewall after only 6,000 miles. I can see a slight split in the rubber over the bubble, but the local Goodyear dealers say it will be almost a week before they can do a warranty exchange on it. I'm trying to decide if I should put the donut on the car before the tire blows out on me and ruins my aluminum wheel.
The dealership I bought the car from has a "Tires for Life" program if I do all my maintenance work with them. If they're not willing to change the brand of tires, I may just be buying my own when the time comes.
