Pros: True to its word, once you apply it, you can't go back.
Cons: Messy application.
The Bottom Line: This glue would be most helpful for broken furniture parts or for bonding wood/metal pieces together (if appearance of the glue is not an issue).

| rswreview's Full Review: Gorilla Glue |
I've been trying for months to fix my drawer in my dresser by gluing the floppy wood bottom to the rest of the drawer with my good old carpenters glue, but it would always find a way to "pop" back out and fall apart. I even tried to glue the metal parts to the wood but of course nothing ever proved successful. All of the glues that were recommended to me (E6000, carpenters glue, crazy glue, etc.) did not work.
I happened to pass by Gorilla Glue at the nearest GI Joes and tried it once, and the drawer's been fixed ever since. The only drawback was that when I applied it, a little bit dripped onto my carpet which I have still not been able to remove, so application is key when using this glue. I actually realized after applying the glue that the directions suggested dampening the wood before applying the glue, a step I had missed. Either way, the glue seems to be working great in holding everything together.
I would definitely suggest it for wood and metal material if you really want to bond something but if you are looking for something that has a clean and easy application, I doubt this is the right product for you. Also, if you are working with crafts and need a glue that will dry clear, this is definitely not for you as the glue dries into a yellowish opaque color, similar to carpenters glue. Also, make sure not to use too much of it (another mistake I made), as it expands in volume 3-4 times after drying for about an hour...luckily, in my case, the expansion occurred in parts of the drawer no one sees anyway.
