Pros:Lightweight, easy to store, portable
Cons:Difficult to set up and take down
The Bottom Line: Great for traveling with baby!
I received the Graco Circus Pack 'N Play Playpen for my baby shower with my first daughter. I had requested this gift for the simple fact that I had heard nothing but good things about it. All the talk was true, this was in fact one of the most useful pieces of furniture I could have received.

Let me start off by listing some of the features of the Pack 'N Play:
-The playpen measures a generous 40x38x31 inches.
-The two long sides of the playpen are a white mesh and the
shorter sides are blue nylon.
-The pad in the bottom of the playpen is rather thin but has
a very colorful animal design on the top.
-It all folds up very nicely and has a handle for easy
-The legs are made of a durable plastic and the corners are
rounded for safety.
-Lightweight for easy portability.
Now lets get into the assembly of the Pack 'N Play. This is the tricky part and takes practice. Out of the box the Pack 'N Play is fully assembled, which is wonderful being that everything you purchase now seems to have some assembly required.
The playpen has a zipper nylon cover on the outside that holds it all together and a hole in the top for the handle to come through. Underneath that is the pad that is wrapped around the folded playpen and fastens tightly with three velcro closures that are fed through a plastic loop.
When you remove the outer portions of the packing there is the playpen frame. To set up the playpen, unlike an ordinary one, you need to keep the middle of the bottom of the playpen up and pull the sides open until you hear them lock into place, then you push the bottom down to a flat position. This sounds easier than it actually being that if the bottom is not raised up enough the walls of the playpen will not lock into place. When you get the base set up you lay the mat in the bottom and your ready to go.
When its time to disassemble the Pack 'N Play you remove the pad, pull the loop on the bottom of the playpen so that the middle is raised and then push the buttons on all 4 rails and fold it up. Again, if the bottom of the playpen is not up enough, it will not fold up.
This sounds rather confusing to assemble and disassemble but like anything else it all comes natural after a few times of using it. I would highly recommend this to anyone with infants and toddlers. We keep ours in the back of the car at all times always giving us a spot to nap our daughter or a playpen when needed. It's a great portable crib and can be used just about anywhere.
