| Kelamandasmom's Full Review: Graco Glow-in-the Dark Toddler Bed |
We recently purchased our daughter her very first big girl bed. She picked out the Graco Glow In The Dark Toddler Bed all by herself, in typical big girl fashion. It was a great purchase overall, and one I would make again.
The Graco Glow In The Dark Toddler Bed is constructed of a metal frame, and plastic molding. I appreciate the fact that the actual frame is metal. This makes the bed alot sturdier. Ans the fact that the headboard, footboard, and rails are plastic, is a Godsend! My little one has already discovered Mommy's makeup. Cleaning it off the plastic was a breeze! The one factor I don't care for in the construction of this bed is the fact that it does use a large piece of cardboard as a buffer between the metal frame, and the mattress. Was the cardboard really necessary? It basically just lowers the value of the bed overall.
The bed does come with two bedrails that can easily attach, and come off to your needs. This is a bonus for us, since bedrails do cost a pretty penny. This cost was eliminated.
And speaking of cost, the price was right for us! At $65.00, it was a bargain compared to some of the other toddler beds. And the Graco name to back it up didn't hurt any.
All in all, this toddler bed is a great buy. With a cute design any little girl would love, and a price and parent can apprecite. I highly recommend it to anyone!
