| juliebove's Full Review: Graco Glow-in-the Dark Toddler Bed |
I liked this bed due to its compact design and the fact that it used a crib mattress. When I got this bed, my daughter had a very small bedroom.
Angela loved her bed from the start. And I think the fact that she could use the same mattress and bedding made the transition a lot easier.
Angela is large for her age, so she outgrew this bed by her 4th birthday. She did not want to give it up, but the support for the mattress is made of cardboard and her weight had exceeded the 50 pound limit by 14 pounds. So we gave the bed to her friend's little sister (age 1) and let her move to a bigger bed.
This bed held up a lot better than I thought it would. My daughter had it for about 3 years and it is still in perfect shape.
The only problem I had with it was putting it together. The instructions looked easy enough, but I struggled with getting the last few steps done. Would have been easier had I had another person to help me hold things together. Luckily, the bed is small enough and lightweight, so I never had to take it apart. When I gave it to the other little girl, I took it there assembled. And it is still holding up well.
This is the perfect bed for a toddler who has outgrown their crib, but not yet ready for a twin bed. The bed is low enough that the child can get in and out of it easily, and the rails prevent them from accidentally falling out.
