I have a 5 year old son who still uses this bed. I put this together myself, It wasn't very difficult. It was easier doing it using my own steps rather than the steps on the instruction sheet. I would like to say, that it is very sturdy, probably because the whole frame is metal with metal bars spaced evenly underneath the mattress. I would recommend this toddler bed. I was impressed with how well it is made.
My son was the best tester of this bed. As I said he is 5 and still loves his bed. We have tried to get him in a big bed but he refuses. I ask him why this bed is so special. His answer " I can go to the moon, I watch the stars" Yes there is glow in the dark stars on the headboard. These stars give off just enough light to keep him safe and happy in his bed.
If you have a child that maybe scared of the dark try this bed. It is highly recommended by my 5 year old son.
