The toddler bed is such a big move for most kids. For so far there entire life they have been securely in place on all 4 sides in a crib. And now the toddler bed, with so many different designs to choose from and every price range imaginable we chose this one for the look and the price also. Noticing to us how far down the sides went knowing that our son is a mover at night he tosses and turns all night long. So the safety of it is most important not wanting him to hit one of the sides and have it just fall down or apart and have him hit the ground. Another thing about the bed that we notices was the glow in the dark moon and starts which are very adorable and like most glow in the dark items you can see them but there brightness is very much.
Nothing better then how far the bed is off the ground a child can easily get themselves in or out of the bed with out having any thought to the parent that they would get hurt doing it. The only thing we found out that was kind of a bummer was the shortness of the bed our son who is 3 now who height is not that great has out grown the bed just not enough leg room for him with a pillow in the bed he hits the ends of the bed with his feet or his head. But other then that minor detail the bed is very durable and strong a great price and value and is very adorable also
