The Bottom Line: I would recommend this attractive high chair, to anyone that has a "messy eater."

| sharonshopper's Full Review: Graco Neat Seat Reclining Adjustable |
I received a non-Graco high chair at my baby shower for my first daughter. She broke it before her second birthday, and landed in a booster seat a little prematurely. When I went out shopping for my new arrivals highchair, I was looking for something that was not only durable, but also easy to clean. I also wanted something that would match the other furniture in my house, and was delighted to find several patterns to choose from, in a variety of colors.
I was raised to believe that you get what you pay for, so, I wasn't deterred by the price of the "Neat Seat" as it is a bit more costly than some other high chairs. I could have easily purchased a high chair for about $30.00, but liked the features the "Neat Seat" had to offer, I'll explain.
The first thing I noticed was that my husband wasn't swearing when he pulled it out of the box. Less than 5 min later, it was assembled and he was happily napping on the couch. After I read the enclosed leaflet I started to examine my new toy. Hmmm, the seat covering was cloth and it was removable. A very important feature to me as these covers become so soiled and icky with droppings of carrots and peas. Now, I wash mine at least twice a week and am happy to report it has not faded, and you don't need an engineering degree to put the cover back on. The down side to this are the straps, which I used religiously when I first purchased it. They were rather difficult to manuver back in the right slots and not easy to clean.
The tray is sturdy and large, with a nice high edge which makes the tray deep, great for when your little one is learning to use his/her pincher technique. There are 2 separate cubby holes one for a juice cup and one for "snacks", they are placed at the edge so if it's something you don't want the little one to get at, just slide the tray a little further away from him. I found the one hand adjustable tray to be a little difficult to use one handed. The 5 adjustable height settings is a nice feature, however, I've only adjusted it twice since my purchase. It also reclines into 3 positions, wonderful for the first cereal feedings. But a little tricky to figure out.
My favorite feature are the wheels, I love the mobility. I can move it with ease to sweep or mop under it and roll it with me to my desk or the family dinner table. I am surely getting my miles out of this chair.
All in all I would recommend this high chair, it's sturdy, moblie and a snap to clean. But don't let the one-hand bit fool you. You'd be much better off having 2 hands available and a little patients.
