Ease of Use:
Pros:Cute design. Has matching pieces. Affordable.
Cons:Handle would not release, causing jerky motions that woke baby up.
The Bottom Line: Great color and design. Handle would not release without much effort. Baby would wake up.
We used the Graco Days of Hunny infant car seat for our second child. The biggest problem we had with it, was the handle. After about a month or so, the handle would not move. You are supposed to click the red buttons on the side, and then that should release the handles so you can position it upright to carry the infant carrier, or back, when the carrier is in the car. The red buttons would not release the handle. It would make our baby wake up, as we tried to get the handle into the position we needed.
We chose this carseat mostly because of the design. We loved the design and still do. The colors are great and the design is cute. We also had the matching high chair. That is another plus, it has matching pieces.
I think, as far as safety, it ranked good. To be honest, we did not check that before buying. We are in the process of purchasing a new car seat for our baby on the way. We will not be going with this car seat.
The price was another factor. We had a very limited budget when we bought it. We got it at Walmart, and felt it was the best choice in our price range. I wish I would have checked around more, but that is in the past.
Overall, the car seat was easy to install, although the base was clunky. The straps were easy to adjust, and we did feel like our baby was protected. We just did not trust the handle and hated that it was not smooth enough to keep her asleep!
