Pros: Nice Flavor, Price, Pleasant Packaging, and very consistent.
Cons: Hard to find outside Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The Bottom Line: Personally I think this is one of America's best regional beers and American Lagers.

| waldo53's Full Review: Grain Belt Premium |
When getting people to try beers other then Bud and Miller I try to start them with Grain Belt Premium. Not that I think it tastes Bud and Miller but people who say they only drink them seem to like Grain Belt. I have also enjoyed the Premium version of this beer. Always very refreshing and the taste is very consistent from bottle to bottle. Is best served fairly cold and has little after taste. The price is right, usually about $5.99 a six pack. You can usually find it bars for anywhere between $1.00 and $3.50. And seems to go best with typical bar food. The beer is pleasantely packaged in a clear bottle with a label that hasn't seemed to change in years. In 1994 it won a Gold medal as the best American Lager at the Great American Beer Festival. Personally I think this is one of America's best regional beers and American Lagers.
It is a regional beer and very hard to find outside Minnesota or Wisconsin, but well worth trying it if you do happened to find it.
If you get a chance check out the 40x40 foot ( yes I said foot not inches) lighted sign in Minneapolis. I believe it is over the Hennipin Avenue bridge. It's a great beer sign!
