Pros: top dogs in NYC

This is the best deal in the city.

$1.50 gets you 2 delicious dogs. I prefer mine with the wet onions. Don't bother with any of the drinks. Same goes with the fries - nobody else gets them, so they are inevitably old, and usually oversalty.

Just get the dogs and buy some soda from the newstand just outside.

Although I prefer grilled to fried, these tasty fried "tubes-O-meat" are the best you can find without cooking them on a grill yourself. And don't forget the legendary SNAP when you bite into them.

And this ain't the Soup Nazi. Skip the line of tourists deciding whether to get kraut or onions and just grab the attention of the sweaty overworked guy near the cash register - he'll hook you up.

I recently tried Papaya King on the Upper East Side and Gray's definitely beats it.
