For those of you who have gone to see this movie, The Green Mile, imagine every word and every move and every plot written down in great detail by the king of story telling Stephen King. 10 Pages into the book and I was hooked. I had seen the movie before I read the book and to me that was the way to go about it. The movie is captivating mostly due to the big screen, the actors, and the surround sound. The book is captivating in a whole new sense, the sense of characterization. The book describes in much more detail Paul and John and even Percy. Some of you may feel that you can't feel as much emotion reading the book as you can watching the film, but trust me you can! It is very rare to see a film that is as good as the book it was based on, and The Green Mile has accomplished this hands down. Read the book and get a whole different feel for everything this great story covers.
