We don’t shop for K-cups very often but when we do, we go overboard.  We picked a box of these at Bed Bath and Beyond (with a 20% off coupon, of course) awhile back and it took forever to drink them all.  Not because there are so many, but because they are not so tasty compared to the other flavors we stock.

I wouldn’t really consider this much of a “variety” because there is almost enough of each to have purchased a box of each flavor individually.  There are much better variety packs to try the K-cups sample flavors. 

The box has a variety of 4 different flavors in the box totaling 48 K-cups. 

1.  Donut House Light Roast Extra Bold (qty 12)
This a good every-day coffee that will be acceptable to most.  My husband loves it and drinks it every day.  I don’t prefer it but I’ll drink it.  It is similar to anything that might be served in a restaurant.  It goes well with breakfast foods and the flavor is strong enough to wake me up in the morning. 

2.  Donut House Decaf (qty 12)
Decaf is trade off.  It doesn’t taste as good as the original, but there’s not as much caffeine so may be the only option to choose in the evening.  There are very few decaf regular unflavored options for the Keurig.  Again, my husband loves this and I would rather pass than drink this.  There is an aftertaste that I can’t get past. 

3.  Donut House Chocolate Glazed Donut (qty 12)
This sounds really good and smells great brewing but I just can’t drink it.  I’ve tried it on several different occasions but haven’t been able to stomach a full cup of it.  This is probably my least favorite of all the K-cups I’ve ever tried.  The chocolate leaves a terrible artificial aftertaste.  While it may sound sweet, it doesn’t have any added sugars or sweeteners.  This is not well liked in our household and is the last to be used up.  After I have been away from the flavor awhile it tricks me again into thinking it will taste like the chocolate donut on the foil.  Not so.  It doesn’t taste like a glazed chocolate donut at all to me.   

4.  Donut House Cinnamon Roll (qty 12)
This also sounds like it would be really good and smells good brewing but doesn’t hit a home run for me.  It does not have any sugars or sweeteners added to it.  The coffee seems weak to me and I can only faintly taste the cinnamon.  They lured me in with the name “cinnamon roll” and an appetizing picture on the foil but it doesn’t taste like a pastry at all.  I’m not a huge fan of flavored coffee to begin with, but this is okay occasionally.  Others in the household like it better than I do, but no one loves it. 
 
Overall
The Donut House K-cups have an orange color to the foil which reminds me of Dunkin Donuts, but it’s not.  It’s also different from Donut Shop by Coffee People (picture of a sprinkle donut on that foil).  The Donut House Collection is by Green Mountain Coffee.  K-cups are only compatible in the Keurig Coffee Brewer.  I don’t remember seeing this box anywhere other than Bed Bath and Beyond for around $33.  It’s even more at retailers online.  It’s interesting that they don’t sell this variety pack on the Green Mountain website, but each flavor can be purchased separately on their site.  The box is a nice way to add quantity to your stash at home.
