dxbari's Full Review: Griffin Technology Tempo - Arm Band for Ipod Nano ...
I recently bought a SanDisk Sansa e270R music player, and wanted to use it while exercising. This would be: jogging, biking, using exercise equipment, etc. So, I set about buying the accessories I would need for the player to be useful across all the activities I had in mind. I wasn't looking for or expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised by this purchase.
Things I like:
- First things first, try to buy this item online. It retails for about $30 and I bought it from Newegg.com for just under $10.
- The material is breathable and the band does not get too hot on the arm even after exercising for a while.
- It is fairly absorbent, does not itch
- It stays in place pretty well and velcro fastener is sturdy and it is light
- The cable control strip has come in really handy for keeping the headphone cords out of the way during heavy activity
Things I like less:
- The cable control strip is bright orange, which I wasn't crazy about but got used to
- The device window has a cut out section for the Sansa device control dial. It does occasionally misalign, but gets better once the band is broken in.
- The buttons around the dial are occasionally hard to press through the plastic
All in all it is a quality product that you can get for a great low price from the right vendor.
Note: I recently purchased the Sansa e270R, and am writing a series of reviews on the unit and accessories purchased to help buyers evaluate alternatives in the mp3/music player arena.
