Like most of the people that write these reviews I have tried nearly every product out there for wheel care. I have a car with 13" rotors and they generate a tremendous amount of brake dust.
Griot's wheel cleaner is stated to be the best wheel cleaner out there, while I think it does clean better than most I have found that certain cleaners (Meguiars & Eagle 1 for example) work better at cleaning but on premium wheels they seem a bit scary to use as they clearly warn that they are caustic. In fact after using their products I feel a little sick due to the smell.
Griot's on the other hand is the total opposite, the first thing I noticed about it is that it smells good, you almost want to drink it. I haven't tried yet, but one of these times I'll taste it. Don't get me wrong about it's cleaning power either, even on my heavily dusted wheels as soon as I spray it on I see a noticeable trail of brake dust and other junk flowing off the wheels. It does not feel harsh on your hands so you don't mind getting in there and scrubbing the wheels good.
