At the end of my recent pregnancy my sister gave me a jack & jill baby shower. Since my husband was going to attend I wanted to get him something that he could share with our baby and also create bonding time for all of us. I knew that I wanted to get a book because reading is so important for children from birth right up through life. I went to the local Barnes & Knoble and sat down in the children's book section with a few books to look over.
In the middle of the pile I came to "Guess How Much I Love You". From the first few pages I knew that I loved this book. Little nut-brown hair tried so hard to tell Big nut-brown hair that he loved him the most, but Big nut-brown hair always out did him. This book directly related to the relationship I knew my husband, Dave and unborn child already shared. I knew that this book was perfect for them and bought it on the spot.
At the shower I surprised Dave with the book and at home that night he read it to my tummy. Now, our son is two months and we frequently read to him all sorts of books, but the one we all snuggle up in bed and read together is "Guess How Much I Love You!"
